Its very rare that I appear in front of the camera, I must admit I feel much more comfortable behind it. That being said, I do really enjoy the opportunity to show my face, break the mould and show others that hard work and persistence pays off. I hope that by showing my face, it makes many of my kin realise that this industry is filled with people from all walks of life and nothing is out of reach, for any of us.

Who’s faster, me or a cheetah? This time I return to Longleat to see how Cheetahs, the fastest land animal in the world reaches those incredible speeds.

I appeared on the Easter Special of the BBC's Animal Park as a specialist cameraman. I was challenged to try and get a closer look at the feeding habits and techniques of Longleat's more weird and wonderful animals.

The One show

In this segment, wildlife cameraman Richard Taylor-Jones was tasking with capturing the 'leap of faith' of some fledging Mandarin ducklings. After several attempts and a long wait, Richard was called away, leaving only myself on location to try and capture the fledging of Mandarin Ducks in Stockport.
